Delete your FursatSouq account

You can permanently delete your FursatSouq account at any time from inside the app. This page explains the process, what is removed, and what may be retained for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.

What is permanently deleted

• Your login credentials and authentication identities (email/password and any linked Google/Apple accounts).
• Your public profile: display name, bio, store name, cover, tagline, location, website and social links.
• Your contact preferences (WhatsApp / phone).
• Saved buyer addresses and favorites.

What may be retained

To meet legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations, and to preserve the integrity of past transactions between buyers and sellers, we may retain:

• Order records and price/commission snapshots — required by financial and consumer-protection laws.
• Commission settlement records and platform-fee history.
• Aggregated / anonymised usage and security logs.
• Content already delivered to a counter-party (e.g. a buyer who purchased a digital file keeps their receipt).

Personal identifiers on retained records are anonymised where possible. Maximum retention: up to 7 years for financial records, or shorter where local law requires. Security logs are retained for up to 12 months.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Open Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the Delete account section at the bottom.
4. Press Delete account.
5. Read the confirmation warning.
6. Enter your current password.
7. Type DELETE and confirm.
8. Your account is permanently removed and you are signed out automatically.
